To support the smooth running of academic and administrative services, Xuzhou Vocational Technology Academy of Finance & Economics (XVTA) needs high-performing IT systems to be available around the clock. As the school’s existing three-tier architecture neared the end of its warranty period, XVTA took the opportunity to upgrade to a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solution from Lenovo and VMware.

Powered by five Lenovo ThinkAgile VX7530 Appliances with VMware HCI software, the solution provides a powerful, flexible foundation for key systems and data. XVTA has also bolstered data protection and availability with a new disaster recovery platform, and can now manage its entire environment from a single point of control thanks to Lenovo SDI Management Platform, saving time and effort.
