To provide effective treatment and diagnosis, doctors at Shangrao City Fifth People’s Hospital rely on quick, uninterrupted access to data held in its picture archiving and communication system (PACS). However, performance bottlenecks within the hospital’s aging storage meant clinicians experienced slow PACS response times, while the systems were difficult to scale and lacked a robust backup function, increasing the risk of downtime.
