ThinkSystem SN550 V2 Blade Server
Optimized for virtualization, performance, and networking
Simplify deployment and orchestration for business-critical workloads such as cloud, virtualization, database, and VDI with SN550 V2.功能

Infrastructure made simple
The SN550 V2 is a highly capable compute node that is part of Lenovo’s Flex System blade server architecture. Blade server systems allow for the pooling of system resources; power, cabling, management, networking, and cooling resources are all shared as a function of the blade chassis (see Lenovo Flex System Enterprise Chassis). The blade architecture saves on OPEX costs and allows for optimal server density, positioning Flex System for both resource- and space-constrained environments.

Blade adaptability
New for the SN550 V2 is improved onboard storage capabilities, features not often found in blade compute nodes. The addition of up to 6 EDSFF (extra dense small form factor) drives brings critical hot data closer to the compute array, reducing the need to rely on external storage arrays to support larger VM deployments.
Additional support for higher wattage CPUs up to 205W (up to 250W w/special bid), Intel®’s Optane™ Persistent Memory 200 Series, and support available for faster PCIe Gen4 networking improve the adaptability of the SN550 V2 to address emerging workload areas.

Workload optimized support
Modern enterprises require infrastructure that is optimized to their specific needs. The SN550 V2 and Lenovo Flex System blade architecture addresses the need for highly dense compute deployments. Environments that consist of large virtualized workloads rely on Flex system to deliver low latency, high performance application support, coupled with easy management and simple compute scalability.
