The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking and certification scheme replaces the CE mark and certification scheme for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) from the 1st Jan 2021 .
CE certified products will still be accepted until 31st Dec 2021.
The UK DoC is a document that confirms a product’s conformance to the United Kingdom’s UKCA certification requirements. The Lenovo product UK DoC lists the applicable UK legislation and standards against which compliance has been assessed.
For products with no wireless interface, a typical ITE (Information Technology Equipment) UK DoC covers the EMC, Low Voltage (Product Safety), ErP (Eco Design), and Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) legislation.
For products with a wireless interface, a typical ITE (Information Technology Equipment) UK DoC covers the Radio Equipment Law (which includes EMC and Product Safety), ErP (Eco Design), and Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) legislation.
The UK Radio Equipment Law compliance information is located within the regulatory notices document, which can be found on the Lenovo Support website. Then, on the following page in the "Search" box, enter "regulatory notice" and hit the Enter key).
