Best computer for college students doing some programming etc

Hello, I am an economics major, minoring in entrepreneurship and innovation. I was wondering if any of y'all have recommendations for what type of computer I should invest in. I hear I will be doing a lot of programming either with R and python along with other programs. I am a business major right now and do some light marketing and social media managing so I also need a powerful computer to create ads and use adobe creative cloud. I plan to enter into grad school with a MS in Business Analyics and Economics. I am not really tech savvy but I have been admiring Lenovo a lot.
