At just 11.9 mm, the IdeaPad 730S is our thinnest notebook yet. Encased in sandblasted premium aluminum and weighing only 2.43 lbs / 1.1 kg, the IdeaPad 730S will go everywhere you do. Available in Iron Grey.

Thinking inside-out of the box

To make a notebook this thin without compromising performance, we had to think differently. The cooling system, for instance, pulls air in through secondary vents hidden in the keyboard, enabling a smaller fan—and a much thinner chassis.
