Tile Mate features the same one-year changeable battery. It has a range of 200 feet/60 meters and is a bit bigger than the Tile Pro. Tile Mate comes in silver. The Mate also has a Tile Sport model that is completely waterproof and ideal for athletes.

Tile Slim is about as slim as two credit cards – thin enough to be placed in a wallet, purse, passport case, or bag. The Tile Slim is a thin tile that can easily slide into place without taking up too much room. With a battery rated to last three years and a Bluetooth range of 200 feet/60 meters, the Tile tracker is perfect for tight spaces.

Tile Sticker is a small device that you can stick to the back of any item. You can’t change the battery, which is rated for approximately two years. The Sticker has a Bluetooth range of 150 feet/45 meters and is most commonly used for electronic devices that get lost easily, like remote controls and devices used by children. The Tile Tracker Sticker can be attached to just about any device that you travel with frequently.

Tile devices are also available in combo packages. Sometimes there are limited-edition models, too.

The Tile app can be downloaded to your iOS, Android, or Windows device from the Play Store, App Store, or another app resource. Once you download the Tile app on your phone, follow the in-app instructions to start using the tracking service.

The App is easy to use and allows you to connect more than one Tile tracker at a time. You can even name your different Tile devices based on what each one is connected to, such as My Keys, My Purse, Fluffy the Cat, and so on. Finding things is as easy as activating the Find button in the app.

How to Use Tile Tracking Devices

There's no fuss involved when using the Tile tracking devices. First, purchase the Tile trackers that you need. If you need more than one, check out the different combo packages that might be available.

Once you’ve purchased your Tile trackers from Lenovo, download the Tile app on your smartphone, tablet, or other device. Then, with your Bluetooth on, pair your device to the Tile tracker and name it. In this way, whenever you’re looking for something, you can simply locate the device name and click Find.

You can find items that are nearby from the app or ask the Smart Home device to find them for you. You can also find your phone with Tile by making it ring, even when it's on silent. 

If you’re out of your device’s Bluetooth range, you can check the last location of the item and go there. If it’s not a pet, then there’s a good chance you’ll see the item in the most recent location. You can also ask for help in the community or organize an anonymous search party with Tile.

Tile also promises top-notch security and privacy. Tile does not sell your information – or the location of your items -- to anyone. Even when you use the community network, you can be sure that your privacy is protected.
