Lenovo Regulatory Compliance

China Compulsory Certification (CCC)

China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is a mandatory compliance requirement for products in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). CCC, introduced in 2002, applies to products listed in CCC catalogs and is required for imported goods as well as Chinese products.

Products requiring certification may be manufactured, imported, sold and/or used in business activities in PRC only after CCC has been obtained.

CCC covers safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the product, and key information such as the model name, manufacturing site and dates of validity are listed in the certificate. The two most important elements of CCC are product testing (at a PRC laboratory) and factory audits (inspection of the product manufacturers by Chinese auditors). Once CCC is granted, it is valid for five years but must be maintained through annual follow-up audits.

If your Lenovo product is not marked with a CCC label, please email ccc@lenovo.com for more information.
