Jining No.1 People’s Hospital is a public hospital in Shandong Province, China with 4,200 beds,providing care for more than 3.3 million emergency and outpatients each year. To comply with national standards for the storage and exchange of medical data, the hospital replaced its existing virtualized environment with a hyperconverged infrastructure based on 12 Lenovo ThinkAgile HX5520 appliances and Lenovo DF1200 Storage to support its hospital information system (HIS), picture archiving and communication system (PACS), and other key business applications.
Impressed with the stability and reliability of the Lenovo solutions, the hospital also selected Lenovo to support its new SPD (Supply, Processing, Distribution) medical equipment management system with a complete solution built on four Lenovo ThinkAgile HX5500 appliances, along with two Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850 servers and two Lenovo DM5000H storage arrays.
