Lenovo Scholar Network Students Participate in NCBCE Annual Meeting
Focus on the Importance of Work-Based Learning
Lenovo Scholar Network students from a number of North Carolina high schools were invited to be part of the North Carolina Business Committee for Education’s (NCBCE) annual meeting. The high schools in attendance were Enloe High School; Cox Mill High School; Olympic Community of Schools; Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School; Walter M. Williams High School; and Lee County High School. NAF students demoed mobile apps; participated in a student panel about work-based learning; delivered a TED-style talk about being Future Ready; and provided literature about the Lenovo Scholar Network, North Carolina NAF academies, and NAFTrack to attendees.
The students also had the incredible opportunity to meet North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, showcasing their knowledge of mobile app development, as well as their college and career readiness skills.
