Emilio Ghilardi
President Lenovo North America

As Lenovo’s President of North America, Emilio Ghilardi is responsible for North America sales, daily operations, growth and profitability of the region -- encompassing the United States and Canada. Prior to assuming this position in April 2016, Emilio was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Lenovo North America. He had overall P&L responsibility for consumer, commercial and enterprise products for the North America region.

Emilio’s vast technology experience spans across sales and marketing, product development, supply chain, distribution and channel management. Having lived and worked on several continents, Emilio brings to Lenovo a unique global mindset and understanding of the best technology practices around the world.

He joined Lenovo in July 2015 after a 30+ year career in the Semiconductor and in the Personal Computing and Printing sectors. He worked for Hewlett-Packard for 28 years in various positions including VP and GM of Personal Systems for the Americas, VP and GM of Consumer for EMEA and VP and GM of Commercial Imaging and Printing for EMEA. He worked at AMD for three years as SVP and Chief Sales Officer and was later named President of AMD International and AMD China.

Emilio has a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from Polytechnic of Turin, Italy.

Sammy Kinlaw
North America Channel Chief Lenovo Channel Sales
Sammy currently serves as the North American Channel Chief, presiding over the PC and System X Channel teams. Prior to this role, in October 2014, he was appointed as Executive Director of Channel Sales for the System X team in Lenovo’s Enterprise Systems Group following the acquisition of IBM’s x86 server team.
Formerly, Sammy held a variety of leadership positions with IBM and Lenovo. From 2012 to 2014 he served as Executive Director of VAR & Distribution sales for Lenovo in the US, Caribbean, and Central America.
A cornerstone role for Sammy included launching Lenovo’s new consumer product line, the “IdeaPad notebook and IdeaCentre desktop” into the retail space for both the US and Canada. In a time frame of just 2 years under his leadership, Lenovo built a firm presence in this channel.
Marshae Mansfield
Executive Director US Commercial Sales
As Lenovo’s Executive Director of US Corporate Sales, Marshae Mansfield is responsible for leading the commercial sales team for the US. She is responsible for the PC business in Lenovo’s largest accounts. She is passionate about her team and driving share for North America. Marshae has been with Lenovo and IBM’s Personal Computer division acquired by Lenovo for 20 years in a variety of sales and management roles across the United States.
Marshae obtained her Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. She is currently active with the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce as well as Girls on the Run supporting young girls across the triangle. Marshae lives with her husband and three children in Cary, NC.
Dilip Bhatia
Vice President of Global Marketing, User and Customer Experience Lenovo PC & Smart Device Business Group
Dilip Bhatia is Vice President of Global Marketing, User and Customer Experience within the Lenovo PC & Smart Device Business Group. He has responsibility for Marketing, User and Customer Experience of all consumer and commercial PC and smart device based offerings, including Think and Lenovo branded PC offerings, such as the famous ThinkPad X1 Carbon and Lenovo YOGA branded PCs.
Prior to this, Dilip was GM of the ThinkPad Business Unit and was also the Vice President of Product Marketing for ThinkPad. He also served a four-year stint in Beijing on international assignment as the Executive Director of Product Marketing for ThinkCentre Commercial Desktop line of offerings.
Dilip has a combined 15 years of experience at both Lenovo and IBM in various roles. Dilip graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with an MBA degree and has a Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. He is based out of Morrisville, North Carolina.
Kirk Skaugen
Executive Vice President President Lenovo Data Center Group
Kirk Skaugen is Executive Vice President and President of Lenovo’s Data Center Group. Named to this position in November 2016, he is responsible for growing Lenovo's global footprint in data center solutions, including server, storage, networking and related software and services. Lenovo is ranked #1 in customer satisfaction in TBR’s Corporate IT Buying Behavior Customer Satisfaction Study for x86-based servers. Lenovo also ranks #2 in the global Top 500 supercomputer rankings with 99 systems powering more than 3 million processor cores working to solve the world's greatest health and scientific breakthroughs.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Mr. Skaugen worked with Intel for 24 years, a tenure that included leadership of both the company’s Client Computing Group and Data Center Group as senior vice president. As head of Client Computing, Mr. Skaugen led Intel’s largest business group with revenue of over $32 billion dollars for the PC, tablet and phone market segments. As leader of the Data Center Group Mr. Skaugen grew the business from $6 billion to over $10 billion in three years. This role included responsibility for Intel's data center Xeon® processors and solutions for cloud computing, high performance computing, communications infrastructure and Intel's Internet of Things (IoT) strategy and solutions.
Earlier, Mr. Skaugen was based in Singapore and served as general manager of Intel’s Asia Pacific Solutions Group with responsibility for developing and delivering Intel’s software solutions through relationships with system integrators and software vendors across the Asia region.
Mr. Skaugen has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
Katie Linendoll
Katie Linendoll is best known for her role as a tech contributor on the TODAY Show, but every week you can find her contributing to other outlets as she explores the latest tech stories across the world. She spends as much hands-on time in the field as she does on her laptop conducting research.
Some of the highlights in her tech journalist career include diving underwater with NASA astronauts, witnessing the ways that mobile technology is rebuilding the Philippines economy in the wake of Super Typhoon Haiyan and first looks, like showing off the newest iPhones on TODAY Show.
As a tech expert, she regularly shares her tech expertise on a variety of platforms, including CNN, Fox News, HLN and Popular Science. In her business, Katie Linendoll Productions, she produces content for a number of top-level retail clients as well as news outlets such as Popular Science and Sports Illustrated.
She travels the world delivering keynote speeches on innovations in technology, hosting and moderating various panels and presentations and working with experts and celebrities—from top chefs to world-class innovators—to share their messages, and her own. Some clients have included, IBM, Deloitte and Ford.
She received an Emmy for her behind-the-scenes work on ESPN’s SportsCenter and was nominated for another Emmy for her work as co-host (aka the tech host) on A&E’s We Mean Business.
Obsessed with WWE wrestling, she is a frequent co-host of the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast (which often ranks in the top 10 in sports on iTunes) and has produced several professional WWE pieces for Sports Illustrated and Men’s Journal, as well as the WWE Network. Sam and Katie also host a weekly digital show for Sports Illustrated.
She recently launched one of the top tech podcasts, Katie Show, and every week she shares first looks in technology and science and interviews the most notable minds in the industry.
Katie loves volunteering, and serves on the board of the Batcole Foundation, which supports research on pediatric cancer.
Randi Zuckerberg
Guest Speaker
Randi Zuckerberg believes in being a three-dimensional woman of many titles. After all, life is too short to pick just one!
She is the Founder & CEO of Zuckerberg Media, a boutique-marketing firm and production company, working with high profile organizations and Fortune 500 companies such as The Clinton Global Initiative, Cirque du Soleil, Conde Nast, and PayPal.
She is the author of two books. Dot Complicated, a New York Times bestseller, discusses Randi’s personal journey on the front lines of Facebook, and her thoughts on how technology has completely changed our lives. Dot a children’s picture book, features an energetic little girl who learns to find balance between her gadgets and playing outside with her friends. The Jim Henson Production Company recently optioned the television rights for Dot.
She is a television producer and contributor. In 2011, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her innovative blend of online/TV coverage of the U.S. mid-term elections. In 2012, she was the executive producer for a TV docu-series on Bravo about Silicon Valley’s startup culture, and she regularly appears on camera as a contributor for  The Today Show and the Katie Couric show to discuss life in the digital age. Randi recently began exploring a new medium: radio. She can currently be heard on the business talk radio show, Dot Complicated, on SiriusXM.
As a highly sought-after speaker, Randi shares her personal story of success in Silicon Valley and her expert insights on technology, business, and entrepreneurship in the digital age. A born performer, she delivers an interactive, entertaining and informative speech that has delighted audiences around the world.
Randi is also a musician and actress. While she has always performed around the Bay Area with her tech cover band, Feedbomb, in Spring 2014, she made it to the big leagues starring in Rock of Ages on Broadway for a 30-show run as 'Regina Koontz.' Her performance was so successful she was asked to extend her run for an additional 12 shows.
In her spare time, Randi sits on the board of Professional Diversity Network, a publicly traded company that helps with diversity staffing and training for Fortune 500 companies. In Fall 2014, she launched her first app, Wake Up World!, tasked with teaching children the story of Rosh Hashanah. Randi is also dedicated to expanding her angel investing portfolio with investments in exciting up-and-coming startups.

What time is onsite check-in for the conference?
  • Conference registration will be open 12pm until 5pm on Monday, April 24. Standard hotel room check-in is 3pm but early check-in can be requested on-site and will be granted by the hotel upon availability. Event registration will also be open on Tuesday, April 25 from 7am until 5pm and Wednesday, April 26 from 7am until 10am.
Can I bring a guest to the conference and/or to the evening event activities?
  • You can purchase an event guest pass for $300, which will provide access to Monday and Tuesday night's evening receptions. If you would like to purchase an event pass and did not do so during the registration process, please contact Guests are not, however, permitted to attend the training sessions. What is the cancellation policy?
  • Kindly notify us by email at Refunds on registration fees will be 50% if cancelled before March 3th and 25% if cancelled between March 3th and April 14th. No refunds can be made if cancelled after April 14th however attendee substitutions can be made with no penalty.
What time should I plan to arrive and depart to not miss any of the conference?
  • Registration opens at 12pm Monday, April 24 and the welcome reception begins at 6:30pm. If you're flying into Orlando International Airport you'll want to allow approximately 45 minutes-1 hour to collect your luggage and secure ground transportation to the hotel.
Can I extend my stay at Swan and Dolphin?
If you are interested in extending your stay at Swan and Dolphin before or after the conference dates of Accelerate, please contact the hotel directly at (407) 934-4000. Subject to availability at the time of reservation, the extended stay rate for 3 days prior and 4 days post is $214 + $20 resort fee and applicable taxes of 12.5%.
Is there a discounted registration fee if I don’t need the hotel accommodations?

Yes, we do offer an event only rate that will provide you access to the event, but does not include a hotel room for Monday and Tuesday nights. Fees for this option are:

  • Standard Registration: $899 (after March 3, 2017)
