Thanks to the optional touch fingerprint reader and infrared camera, the ThinkPad L490 is designed with security in mind. It's also very configurable and will make your employees’ lives easier with its 12-hour battery life and seamless performance.

With up to 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processing (plus Intel® vPro™ technology for advanced security and manageability), the L490 can plow through almost any task. Yet, it has a starting weight of under 1.69kg. Options include solid-state drive storage, and 14"multitouch display.

Designed to go places

With up to 12 hours of battery, the L490 will last all day. When running low on juice, rapid-charging technology will give you 80% battery capacity in just 60 minutes. In addition, the optional backlit keyboard—with white LEDs—allows you to work in even low-light conditions.

Why type a password, when your fingerprint or smile will do? Thanks to the optional touch fingerprint reader and infrared camera, logging in is quick and secure—via advanced biometric technologyand Windows Hello facial software. Plus, with ThinkShutter, you can close the webcam when it's not in use.
