TAA-Compliant Products for Secure Digital Government

Trusted Federal Technology

As a General Services Administration schedule holder, Lenovo complies with all of the terms and conditions of the General Services Administration procurement, including the requirement to supply Trade Act Compliant product for all PC hardware. We have been manufacturing Trade Compliant products in Monterrey, Mexico, since 1984. The plant was also awarded Customs and Border Patrol’s first Tier 3 designation for compliance with strict supply chain security requirements – the first awarded in the industry.

The Monterrey site today is a 263,000 square foot facility and manufactures five million units per year. It is the hub for all North American ThinkCentre Desktops, ThinkServers, ThinkStation workstations, as well as Lenovo’s TAA notebook ThinkPad products.

As part of our long-term commitment to our customers and communities in North America, Lenovo also opened its first USA manufacturing plant in Whitsett, North Carolina, in early 2013.
