Fusen aims to lead the market for smart supply chain services by developing cutting edge solutions such as logistics visualization management and smart warehousing to improve efficiency and quality of service. The company’s external order system can handle up to 10,000 documents per day. However, the IT infrastructure struggled to support new technology and service breakthroughs. With more than 30 physical servers, allocating server and storage resources was increasingly time consuming and costly.
Fusen deployed four Lenovo ThinkAgile VX7520 appliances, powered by VMware vSAN software, to support its critical ERP and order management systems. With this Lenovo hyperconverged platform, the company has reduced data center floorspace requirements by 87%, significantly reducing power and cooling costs. Fusen has also improved server utilization, performance, and data availability, and simplified management workloads, enabling its streamlined IT team to spend more time on innovation.
