Making new discoveries in AI and quantum computing

DAS Photonics develops cutting-edge solutions for defense and space exploration. In 2021, the organization joined the CUCO project, a major research program, to test the value of quantum computing for analyzing signal intelligence gathered via photonics.

To support the project, DAS Photonics deployed a Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 server, with three NVIDIA® RTX™ A6000 GPUs. The solution provides the massive performance needed to compare the performance of classical versus quantum algorithms at high speed—generating valuable research results sooner.
