Enabling groundbreaking genomics research

To help researchers in Indonesia push the frontiers of science, BRIN deployed a next-generation HPC cluster. Powered by Lenovo ThinkSystem servers with 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and running the Lenovo GOAST Plus bioinformatics solution, the new platform significantly accelerates genomics workloads.

Customer Problem

With its existing HPC resources approaching capacity, BRIN looked for a new platform that would enable researchers in Indonesia to drive cutting-edge work in genomics and other fields.

Lenovo Solution

BRIN deployed the Lenovo GOAST Plus bioinformatics solution on Lenovo ThinkSystem servers powered by 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, boosting performance for demanding workloads.
