Don’t take our word for it!

Look how customers have benefitted from implementing hyperconverged and software defined solutions based on Lenovo and our solutions partners. You’ll see that a lot of them are based here in the Nordic region.

Cloudeon A/S (Denmark)

‘Move to the cloud’ – it sounds simple enough, right? But how do you actually go about doing it? That’s where Danish cloud service provider Cloudeon comes in. With a hybrid cloud platform from Lenovo and Microsoft Azure Stack, Cloudeon makes moving to the cloud a walk in the park.

Cloud Factory (Denmark)

Cloud Factory, a MSP that specializes in cloud solutions, is expanding its high-performance compute hosting portfolio with a hyperconverged infrastructure that combines Lenovo servers, Intel® processing power and Microsoft Windows Server with Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct. The software-defined solution dramatically improves performance.

Acuutech (UK)

To sharpen its competitive edge, Acuutech wanted to offer clients faster, more reliable and more cost-effective cloud and hybrid computing services. To enable a new, cutting-edge software-defined storage solution, Acuutech implemented Lenovo servers – helping to boost performance and cut costs.

Braathe Gruppen AS (Norway)

To keep service levels high as demand for cloud computing continues to rise, Norwegian IT services provider Braathe Gruppen replaced its traditional storage area network (SAN) system with cutting-edge software-defined storage technology. The solution is based on Microsoft Windows Server with Hyper-V and Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) running on Lenovo servers, equipped with powerful Intel® Xeon® processors and Intel SSDs.

Soerum Kommune (Norway)

Encompassing both beautiful rural landscapes and fast links to the capital city, the Norwegian municipality of Sørum Kommune is growing in popularity as a place to live. But with more people moving to the area, how could the municipality keep public service levels high? With a new Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) software-defined storage solution from Lenovo and Microsoft, Sørum Kommune has boosted performance of key business applications, enabling staff to respond to citizen requests faster.

“In order to have functional, stable and responsive systems that allow us to serve our citizens in the best possible way, we have moved our healthcare and admin systems over to the Lenovo S2D cluster.” — Hans Petter Hetland, Head of Digitization and ICT, Sørum Kommune

HiQ (Finland)

To support developers at every stage of the app-building journey, HiQ made the switch from a traditional to a hyperconverged IT infrastructure. With a Lenovo Converged HX1310 Appliance powered by Intel® Xeon® processors, the company can provision virtual resources to developers with ease.

Skala (Norway)

Skala needed a better performing virtualization platform to help support their business. Their EMC storage and their servers were aging and soon out of support; the legacy infrastructure resulted in bad performing applications. The customer also wanted to simplify their IT infrastructure. Lenovo proposed a Hyperconverged solution with Nutanix.

Heartland Jiffy Lube (USA)

Oil change and car service provider Heartland Jiffy Lube found that its diverse and aging IT infrastructure was increasingly impacting operations and employee productivity. To boost availability and reliability, the company implemented Intel® Xeon® processor-equipped Lenovo Converged HX5500 Appliance with Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform software – radically simplifying its infrastructure. Today, Heartland Jiffy Lube has peace of mind that IT systems will run uninterrupted, all while leaving room for growth.

Litewire (USA)

To meet the needs of its growing enterprise client base, hosting and colocation services provider Litewire decided to build its existing infrastructure with Lenovo servers featuring Intel® Xeon® processors. In combination with VMware virtualization technology, the Lenovo solution provides the company with software-defined infrastructure that is simple to manage. Easy scalability enables Litewire to offer flexible client services more cost-effectively, sharpening its competitive edge.

EFFISION Australia

Growing rapidly, EFFISION Australia found that its existing IT infrastructure struggled to cope with increasing volumes of payment transactions. VMware vSphere with vSAN running on Lenovo System x3650 servers provides the flexibility and scalability that EFFISION needs as it continues to grow its client base and product portfolio.
