I've never had an Atari computer but I loved messing around on them when they were still in stores. I loved seeing the 400 running Star Raiders or Lose Runner in places where I could try it out. I still remember what that keyboard felt like.

I'm not an Atari collector, but I began gaming with the Atari Pong arcade machine and my first gaming console was Atari Stunt Cycle. I remember drooling over the Atari ST because it handled MIDI music composition really well at the time, but in deciding between it, the Amiga, and the Apple IIGS, I ultimately wound up buying a Macintosh II a year later. Related to retro computing, I see that a company took ownership of the Commodore name and is about to launch a new Commodore 64 soon, but I'm unsure if it's going to have proper hardware support, or emulation like the most recent Atari VCS console.
