Do you use a mouse right- or left-handed? What about a touchpad?

Tha Lisa's question from a few days ago about being right- or left-handed elicited a few responses from people who said they use a mouse left-handed. It made me realize that in many years of working around computers, I've only ever met one person who used a mouse left-handed. I've met many people who write left-handed, and I've occasionally seen people use a mouse with their left hand on a temporary basis, usually due to injury or just not having room for a mouse on the right for some reason. But actual left-hand mouse users seem to be rather rare, as least in my experience. I suspect it's because most computers are set up with a mouse on the right so most people learned that way.

I'm also curious if the right-hand prevalence occurs with touchpads (or trackpoints, for those ThinkPad die-hards). What hand do you use for a touchpad? Is it the same hand as a mouse?

It is always interesting to hear about what tech everyone is dreaming about... whether it be computers, mics, headsets, tablets, displays, web cams, lights or whatever.

I can say there are my top five:
1. 3D Printer
2. Resin Printer
3. Always down to test new phones
4. New computer for sure... always... Lenovo Hint Hint.
5. New webcam. I am tired of my Elgato camera (too buggy).

What are your thoughts on channels that film strangers and publish them online?

With advent of small cameras like Meta RayBans there are a number of content creators that are using them film their interactions with strangers and publish the videos online.

The NYT recently reported how one waiter became uncomfortable from new attention when he went viral from being unknowingly recorded by food TikToker Elizabeth Eats. Other creators like bikingdc film workers and customers while doing food delivery. Subjects of his videos have complained that he provokes people and edits his videos to omit that.

In Germany 🇩🇪 much of these kinds of videos would be illegal. Do you think filming strangers and publishing it online should be ok? Or do you think places should be more like Germany where filming in a public places is ok but consent to publish is needed if one is the main subject of a video?
