Strengthening digital and AI literacy in the classroom

To enhance digital literacy and AI understanding across the entire school community, Jeonggwan Middle School adopted the Lenovo 500e Chromebook Gen 3 and Google Workspace for Education. This marked a shift from teacher-centered instruction to learner-centered, activity-based classes, resulting in more active student collaboration and interaction. Both students and teachers have reached a high level of proficiency in AI literacy through the use of the Gemini for Education generative AI tool in the classroom.

Customer Problem

For years, Jeonggwan Middle School has actively incorporated digital technology into the classroom, earning the school recognition as a future education hub. As generative AI has become more widely
used in education, the school recognized the need to further strengthen digital and AI literacy.

The school equipped students with Lenovo 500e Chromebooks—durable 2-in-1 devices that offer all-day battery life—and adopted Google Workspace for Education, which includes access to AI tools such as Gemini for Education.
