Lenovo is in a cosmic class of its own

Lenovo in space

Lenovo's legendary ThinkPad is the laptop
currently certified for use on the International
Space Station. This ultimate DO machine has
undergone extreme testing to qualify for
flight-approved duties, just like the
astronauts who rely on its speed,
power and performance.

Featuring magnesium-alloy roll cages,
advanced inter-cooling mechanisms,
an onboard accelerometer and biometric
fingerprint readers, the ThinkPad is
a galactic leap in technology.

The ThinkPad is a galactic leap in technology. Magnesium-alloy roll cages and carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, with stainless steel hinges, provide extreme durability. Advanced intercooling mechanisms prevent overheating. The Onboard Accelerometer assists in preventing damage from sudden drops. An advanced onboard security chip and biometric fingerprint readers provide improved security. The ThinkPad is truly equipped with some of the coolest features on the International Space Station. ThinkPad laptops weren't made in a vacuum, but they sure can be used in one. What will you do with yours?

About
YouTube Space Lab

We need your help to choose two experiments which will be performed on the International Space Station
and live-streamed on YouTube to the world!

In 2011 we challenged budding scientists aged 14-18 to design amazing experiments to be conducted in space.
Can plants survive beyond the Earth? Could proteins in space reveal the mysteries of life? Will the winners'
experiments unlock the answers? From 17th January 2012 visit the YouTube Space Lab channel and you will
get to vote for your favorite experiments alongside our international panel of experts.

After voting is complete, six outstanding individuals or teams will then be invited to Washington, DC
and treated to a taste of space travel on an unforgettable zero-gravity flight. The top two winners
will have a chance to attend astronaut training in Russia and their experiments will be conducted
and live-streamed by astronauts aboard the International Space Station — 250 miles above Earth!
