Designed to perform, the Y400 and Y500 feature the unique UltraBay – a feature that sports an interchangeable bay which users can instantly swap out for dual graphics capability, increased storage space or an additional cooling fan. Be it for editing holiday photos and videos or playing the latest extreme, high performance computer games, these laptops can handle almost any processor-intensive task thrown at them.

To complete the multimedia experience, the IdeaPad Y400 and Y500 also include JBL® speakers and Dolby® Home Theater® v4 for full-impact surround sound, making it the perfect entertainment system when watching videos or playing games.

Designed to Impress

Each model sports third generation Intel® Core i7-3630QM processors, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT650M 2GB dual graphics, 8GB DDR3 memory, and 1TB of HDD storage. With looks to match, they also feature an eye-catching carbon fiber patterned cover, 14-inch and 15.6-inch LED backlit widescreen HD displays, and a dual-layer backlit AccuType keyboard that has a snazzy red colour peeking out from under the black chiclet-style keys.

For improved usability, the IdeaPad Y400 and Y500 comes with an intelligent touchpad that is optimised to work with the Windows 8 Metro interface with easy scroll, zoom and rotate functions.

Pricing and Availability

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y400 and Y500 will begin retailing in Singapore from mid January 2013 through all authorized  Lenovo retailers, with prices starting from SGD$1,699 and SGD$1,999 respectively.
