Lenovo Adds to New PC Line with First Dual-Core, Widescreen Model


RALEIGH, N.C. March 29, 2006 - Lenovo today unveiled its first Lenovo-branded dual-core notebook computer, a widescreen, easy-to-use system designed for small business customers with a limited IT budget.

The Lenovo 3000 N100 simplifies owning and operating a PC by automating many routine security and maintenance tasks though a unique suite of productivity tools. Lenovo Care tools help alleviate the need for a dedicated IT help desk by offering a central location for essential PC tasks such as:

Weighing in at just 2.54 kg,(2) the new N100 comes in 14.1-inch and 15.4-inch widescreen models for viewing 20 percent more data space in spreadsheet applications or watching DVDs in the optimized format.
