Lenovo Continues to Hunt for a Sharp Thinker with an Edge to Grant $USD 20,000 worth of prizes
Lenovo’s online contest to unearth sharp thinkers and edgy business ideas closes on the 27th June
Dubai, UAE – 21st June 2010 – Lenovo Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan (MEEP) has accumulated more than 100 creative ideas for the online “Edgy Business Thinker” contest from residents of the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Lenovo will continue accepting submissions until the 27th of June 2010 before the winner of the US$ 20,000 worth of prizes is announced.
“We are glad to see how eager the SMB/Entrepreneur community is to share new creative ideas on the contest website and we’re looking forward to see more entrepreneurs getting on board,” said Anjum Qadiri, Marketing Manager, Lenovo MEEP. “We believe that creativity in this region is on the rise, especially in countries such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where young business minded people form the majority of the population. Out of over one thousand voters, three lucky winners; residents of the UAE and the KSA, have been picked out of a draw and won Microsoft Office 2010 Software Packs but the chance still stands for one more voter and will be announced by the end of the contest.
For the “Edgy Business Thinker” contest, participants are asked to submit an innovative business idea in 250 words or less. They are also encouraged to support their ideas with pictures or videos and enter the contest for creative minds, where the winner with the best video stands to win a 15-inch Lenovo ThinkPad Edge notebook.
