Lenovo India launches its 1st exclusive PC store for SMBs
A one stop shop to cater to the distinct needs of an SMB customer

Pune, 27th February, 2012: Lenovo the No 2 PC maker in India is taking steady strides to accomplish its objective of ‘Getting closer to customers’ especially in the high potential SMB market. In sync with this, Lenovo India today inaugurated its first exclusive PC store for SMBs “THINK BUSINESS STORE” in Pune.With this store Lenovo focuses on a unique consultative selling approach where SMBs are endowed with with an entire range of products for their computing needs.

Lenovo has been aggressively steering in to the SMB space with an encouraging market share of 6.8% as per OND 2011 IDC results from 4.7 % in JAS 2011. The company currently holds around 30-35% of the overall PC market in Pune and witnesses a huge market to delve with close to 14,000 units seeking IT requirement.

Mr. Rajiv Rao, Director - SMB, Lenovo India, said, “We have identified the need for such an initiative and have chalked out a clear retail plan for achieving optimum penetration for SMBs. The look and feel of the store is different and is specially designed for SMBs who prefer to buy from a retail store. We would like to explore this model and accordingly leverage on the success of this store pace out more stores in future.”

This exclusive store is around 450 square feet in size and will stock entire range of Think products - Notebooks, Desktops, Tablets and All-in-Ones to address the dynamic computing needs of SMBs. Offering a perfect blend of brand display, information, guidance, touch and feel of products, Lenovo’s exclusive Think store will provide the buyers an end-to-end brand experience.
