Six Consecutive Years
Strengthening market leadership clearly evident in total PC market and across segments

Hong Kong, March 5, 2012 – Lenovo Hong Kong today announced that the company continues to be the No.1 PC vendor in Hong Kong for the six consecutive years, according to a recent PC tracker report from IDC, a leading provider of global IT research and advice.

The following are Lenovo’s achievements as reported in the latest IDC Asia/Pacific Quarterly PC Tracker 4Q 2011:

  • Lenovo is the No.1 PC vendor in Hong Kong for six consecutive years in terms of unit shipment (2006-2011)
  • Lenovo captures the highest share, for the year 2011, in core PC segments including commercial, consumer desktop and notebook markets in Hong Kong
  • Lenovo achieves market share of 26.31 percent in 2011
  • Lenovo’s 4Q market share hits record high of 26.9 percent in Hong Kong, more than 10 percent ahead of its closest second behind it
