Highly portable ThinkPad T Series notebooks, which start at about 1" thin¹⁴ and have a travel weight starting at only 2.04kg². Select new ThinkPad T60 and T43 models offer larger 15.1" TFT displays that are ideal for viewing spreadsheets, presentations, Web pages and more ¹⁴thin. They offer the latest Intel® Core™2 Duo processors on (select models), and up to 128MB graphics adapters. Select new T60 models include the Intel 945GM Express Chipset, providing fast performance, integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, one ExpressCard slot, and one PC Card.

High-performance wireless networking is easy with "Multiple In/Multiple Out" (MIMO), the next-generation Wi-Fi technology based on 802.11n standards enabling faster connectivity and greater wireless range than PCs set with previous standards. T60 Series models feature integrated ThinkPad 11a/b/g/n or Intel 802.11a/b/g¹⁰ wireless adapters (select models). This multi-mode technology provides the flexibility to connect in any Wi-Fi environment to help increase mobility and productivity.

All-day computing is here. Get up to 9 hours of battery life⁶ on select models with the system battery plus the optional ThinkPad T Series Ultrabay Battery. It's like a single tank of gas for the entire day's journey.

Cisco compatibility is provided on select ThinkPad T60 and T43 notebooks, which are rigorously tested by a Cisco Systems®-authorised test facility to verify they'll work with appropriate Cisco products. The Cisco Compatible Extensions (CCX) Program for wireless LAN devices provides proven compatibility with key security features of Cisco infrastructure products.

Image compatibility for easier rollouts... The ThinkPad T Series preloaded software is image-compatible with select ThinkPad X and T Series models. This makes for easier rollouts and helps save time and reduce costs by simplifying deployment and image management - great for enterprises rolling out a combination of models.

Optimised for connectivity, select ThinkPad T Series notebooks feature up to six built-in communications capabilities: Wi-Fi wireless¹⁰, Bluetooth® technology, Ethernet, 56K V.92³ modem, Infrared port and wireless broadband access (select models). RJ-45 and RJ-11 ports are standard on all models. High-speed Gigabit Ethernet connectivity is also featured on select ThinkPad T Series notebooks. The Gigabit Ethernet standard provides speeds up to 10 times faster³⁰ than existing 10/100 Ethernet technology, helping to transfer information quickly and increase productivity.

The Client Security Solution⁵³ (including Client Security Software) lets you "lock" your data, helping to provide user authentication, data protection and more secure wired and wireless communications³⁷. This hardware-and-software combination creates a secure industry-standard PC, providing a level of security not available as a standard feature from any other manufacturer.

The ThinkVantage Productivity Center is a special user-support feature that can help you keep your ThinkPad notebook secure and operating efficiently without wasting a minute of your time.

Simply press the Blue Button to open a powerful menu of applications and tools such as Away Manager, which allows time consuming and power hungry applications to run automatically while the user is away. A related tool, Whisper Mode, runs processor intensive applications (such as an anti-virus scan) using a lower slice of total CPU cycles, so you can keep working and multi-tasking. With ThinkVantage Productivity Center you can perform routine system tasks while you work or press a button and walk away. It's PC maintenance made simple.

The ThinkPad UltraNav multipointing system was created with ease-of-use in mind. It combines the latest full-function TrackPoint pointing device with a customised touch pad. A product of detailed research and analysis, this innovative tool lets you work the way you want. A choice of three TrackPoint cap designs allows you to further customise your ThinkPad notebook.

Distinctive design elements like the TrackPoint pointing device are what set ThinkPad notebooks apart from the rest. This unique pointing device is standard on all of our notebooks legendary full-size keyboard. We now offer three types of TrackPoint cap choices which allow you to further customise your notebook: Classic Dome, Soft Dome or the Soft Rim.

Hard drive protection for your system and your valuable data is available by combining the ThinkPad Roll Cage with our shock-mounted hard drive on new T60 models. The ThinkPad Roll Cage protects critical system components against accidents or jolts with a magnesium alloy frame that surrounds the interior parts, absorbing shock and helping to reduce failures and improve durability and reliability. The ThinkPad Shock-Mounted Hard Drive is mounted in rubber rails to enhance durability and reduces shock to the hard drive from any direction. Work undaunted by bumps and drops thanks to designed durability.

The UltraConnect antenna - just one of the wireless performance features on ThinkPad T Series notebooks - is built into the display cover for optimal signal reception²⁴. This combined design supports IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n wireless technologies to help maximise coverage and performance for improved wireless LAN connectivity around the world.

The ThinkLight keyboard light allows you to work in low-light conditions. Located on the top edge of the display, this tiny LED illuminates your keyboard to let you keep working. ThinkPad notebooks are the only notebook family with the ThinkLight keyboard light.

Linux preloads In addition, select T Series models can now be purchased with Novell SUSE® Linux Enterprise Desktop 10. Lenovo has long supported open source computing, and now, for the first time, you can get the leading enterprise-class Linux operating system preloaded on the best-of-breed notebook PC.
