Lenovo Protection Service provides service coverage against accidental damage in addition to the international warranty. This will cover the expenses of repair or replacement of the insured machines with minimal deductibles.
The coverage begins on the day you purchase the machine (as stated in your invoice or delivery note). As such, kindly retain your purchase invoice for the purpose of verification when submitting the claim in future. However, in order to activate this protection service, you will first need to read the terms & conditions and register online. This protection service commences from the date of purchase.
This protection service covers in many ways but it does not cover:
- damage from intentional misuse
- damage from operating in unsuitable environment
- damage from improper maintenance (other than Lenovo or Lenovo authorized service providers)
- damage caused by installing 3rd party options
- damage from fire, flood, sand, dirt, weather or other external factors
- theft / loss
- malfunction of the machine (as it was covered by standard warranty)
- wear or gradual deterioration
- consequential loss of any kind

You need to inform Lenovo within 7 days of accidental damage and complete the necessary claim form.
Note: This service is applicable only for notebooks purchased in Hong Kong, and you will have to sign up and submit the registration form in order to activate this protection service.
