IBM® Director Agent enables desk-side support from a centralized, remote location. This downloadable software creates the base for automated inventory collection, provides local asset information access, and offers extensive help desk support tools. When integrated with IBM Director (not included) or other system management solutions, it allows for remote workstation control to solve problems via the help desk or distribute software corrections to networked systems.

Track your assets using IBM Asset ID™. Asset ID creates an IBM-unique asset information area on your system that cannot be erased in the event of a hard drive replacement or system BIOS update. Information can be added or updated and can be collected automatically through electronic inventory.
