Lenovo’s Classroom Director gives teachers simultaneous, real-time and interactive control of all classroom PCs, or just a single PC for individualized attention. Using “Show” features, teachers can share their screen or a student's screen with all, one or just a few students. This is a feature that is very helpful when walking students through complex lessons or showing the class how one student solved or approached a problem.
Teachers can keep students focused on the subject at hand by monitoring their screen and using other LCD capabilities to limit access to web sites, software and printers. Or, the teacher can blank all screens at any time to gain attention or focus the class in some direction.
The expansive ability to test students gives new meaning and value to the phrase “pop quiz”. Along with more traditional testing, teachers can create, store and populate student screens with short progress tests designed to act as chapter quizzes.
