Tablets, netbooks offer different web browsing perks

For consumers constantly on-the-move, accessing the internet is a major demand. Not all mobile devices offer the same web browsing format, and people considering a tablet or netbook computer will notice a vastly different internet experience.

Each product is lightweight and small -- two aspects that offer a greater mobile experience. Being cramped in a small area trying to finish up important work, check email or access the internet is never a comfortable feeling.

The most significant difference between a tablet and netbook is how the devices are used. Tablets have a touchscreen interface that responds to finger movements to navigate the screen and internet, while netbooks have the classic look of a laptop, but are smaller and use the keyboard track for control.

Although the interfaces of each system are drastically different, consumers looking for a device to strictly browse the internet may look no further than a tablet. Tablets are responsive and include an abundance of different applications, including some of the best games out there. While netbooks don't offer the same interaction, the standard keyboard makes it easier to get work done quickly.
